SopCast is one of the many modern programs for broadcasting video and audio online, but has advantages that help it stand out. It uses P2P, but utilizes the best possible solutions for it, which makes the broadcasting faster, more stable and less prone to crashes and freezes.
The interface of the program is simple enough for it to be used by beginners, but advanced enough for experienced users to take interest. I found it quite easy to adjust the settings I needed and start the broadcast or receive the signal: the program works in both ways. Luckily, SopCast is not terribly demanding on the system resources and doesn't eat up much memory. You can even use it with an external player.

What I found most appealing about SopCast is that the developers thought of virtually everything. It's stable and light, the buffering is done quickly and hasn't failed ones for me. It's easy to start and access channels, and the newer versions even allow to broadcast without user or channel registration, making things even more simple. SopCast is compatible with various platforms aside from Windows, including Android. Using the program, you can embed the videos into your Internet site and do lots of other useful things. The program even has advanced security features to avoid any online hazards.

I can only speak for myself, but here's my advice: if you need a broadcasting tool, try this one out.
